The Essential Chuck Jones Shorts
I've been in a Looney Tunes mood lately. Chuck Jones is my favorite director of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies series so I thought I'd share some of his best work.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky
I don't know how I went so long without seeing this movie. It's amazing. It's based on a manga and has also been adapted into two OVAs that I will need to track down.

TRON: The Next Day
A short film that will be included on the blu-ray release of Tron: Legacy. It's a bridge between the two films.

Skullgirls - trailer
I like the art style of this game, it reminds me of the Scott Pilgrim beat em' up that came out last year. Interestingly, the lead programmer for the game is actually longtime fighting game community member Mike Z.
Rockman and Transformers Stop motion : Go! Rockman! 衝吧!! 洛克人 !!!
I thought this was really cool. Reminds me of all the good times I used to have with my action figures.
Detention - trailer
This movie looks like a goddamn mess. Is it a comedy? Is it a slasher movie? A throwback to John Hughes 80s movies? Was that Dane Cook as a principal? Aliens? WTF? I can't help but be fascinated. I did laugh pretty hard at "Thank God that's not me".

Mortal Kombat 9 Challenge Tower
There hasn't been a good MK game since 1995, but each time a new one comes out I'm always hopeful. If Batman can't save this franchise, maybe mission mode can. I love shit like this.

Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy 2010 with Jack Black and Jason Segel
Jack Black and Jason Segal were recently in Gulliver's Travels together and have done some charity concerts together in the past. I wish I had seen this one earlier. Apparently all of the royalties from i-tunes will go to charity (plus the animated versions of these guys are hilarious).
